A Person who has completed the age of 60 years. Senior citizen can open jointly with other persons, in that case the name of the senior citizen should appear as the first named depositor.

- Additional rate of interest of 0.50% p.a is payable for
15 days to 10 years, over the card rate only (not
applicable to preferential deposits).

| Value additions |
- At par transfer of funds to the extent of interest earned per month or Rs.5000/- per month whichever is higher.
- At par collection of Pension bills/cheques as applicable for pensioners.
- If the senior citizen maintains a minimum balance of Rs.2000/- in his Savings Bank account, an ATM card will be provided wherever applicable.
