| Indian Bank signs accord with IRCTC |
Indian Bank has signed an agreement with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), a Government of India Enterprise for offering train ticket booking services through IRCTC website http://www.irctc.co.in/. The agreement was signed on 1st August 2007 at New Delhi in the presence of Shri M.S.Sundara Rajan, Chairman and Managing Director, Indian Bank and Mr.Nalin Singhal, CMD of IRCTC.
The agreement enables ATM cardholders of Indian Bank to avail of the railway ticketing services through internet. During the occasion, Shri M.S.Sundara Rajan said that this is one more step by the Bank to provide value added services to the customers and in taking banking technology to the Common Man in tune with the Mission of the Bank.
